The Siemens Optipoint 420 Standard phone is available in two colours, arctic (part code S30817-S7211-A101) or manganese (part code S30817-S7211-A107).
The Optipoint 420 Standard business phone is a multi-line IP telephone that is full duplex, with echo suppression. This gives optimum voice quality making it suitable for call centres. The Optipoint 420 Standard has the option to add-on Key Modules via the optional slide-in units.
It comes with 12 self-labelling keys with LEDs, a 2-line x 24 character swivel LCD display with caller ID, OptiGuide navigation keys, and integrated G.722 wideband Codec for improved voice quality. The Siemens Optipoint 420 Standard supports CorNet-IP and CTI (TAPI) over IP and it has an integrated 10/100 Base-T mini switch which allows it to be connected to the corporate LAN.
The OptiPoint 420 family has the addition of displays next to the feature keys. The programmed feature or the telephone number is displayed directly via the self labelling key display, which means that workstations can be shared without the need for paper strips for individual key assignments.
The Siemens Optipoint 420 Standard phone is only compatible with the Siemens Hicom and Siemens Hipath System and not for home use.
